Coaltown Museum

The Coaltown Museum focuses on Westport’s coal mining heritage with interesting exhibits of mining equipment in addition to displays about transport and brewing.

The museum is located on Palmerston Street next to the i-SITE Visitor Information Centre and the InterCity coach stop.

    Small but has a lot. Good place to learn about the area before exploring.
