Make sure to do all three loops and if on a sunny day, you can hear many birds too while enjoying the amazing geothermal stuff.

Don’t bother for the explosive geyser. Not forth it. To staged. But do come in early... less tourists.

An interesting experience to see the different craters, pools, and colours. Smelly at times but not all the way. There are 3 routes to choose from - the longest walk taking about 1hr 45 mins.

Geologists give talks at various times around the park - ask at the visitor center when and where as they are short and really interesting!

The park is great to visit, but don't waste money and time on the 10.15's geyser

The Lady Knox Geyser is worth seeing. As is the mud pool you pass on the way to Wait-O-Tapu.

Truly a worthwhile experience, I wonder how thin the earth's crust is here? How far down to magma?

beautiful park but better to go with your own car. Tours don't let you stay more than 75 min. Too short for this stunning park

At 10.15am each day the Lady Knox Geyser provides a unique opportunity to see a geyser in eruption to heights of 10 to 20 metres.
