Black Abyss is the most challenging of the Legendary Black Water Rafting Co’s cave trips. It starts with an abseil into the Ruakuri Cave where you can go cave tubing among the glow-worms and finishes off with a swim followed by squeezing and climbing out of the cave.

Did the blackwater rafting a few days ago, and it was a lot of fun with an awesome adrenaline rush! Also do the Black Abyss one as well, I did it back in January and it is thrilling and so much fun!

All of the tours here are amazing and fun, bush walks, hikes, abseiling, toobing, floating through dark caves, glowworms and even chocolate fish to snack on its amazing!!!

Not a huge fan of small spaces but I was able to get through the cave trip & had fun! I didn't understand at first that I didn't have to crawl thru the small tunnels but once explained I was good.

We went for the Black Labyrinth and it was worth the money, the guides were awesome, the caves and worms were beautiful:) And the hot shower, soup and bagel was a cherry on top 👍

undfortunatly the office seems to be quite chaotic and unorganised sometimes. they resceduled our tour without us knowing until we got to the assembly point 30 Minute before the tour.

Did the "Black Abyss" tour and have to admit it was pretty cool. Start with abseiling 35 meters, them zip lining before you jump off a cliff into cold black water. Definitely recommend this.

Thoroughly recommend the Black Labyrinth tour. Guide was excellent and made everyone feel at ease. Toobing is great fun & the glowworms are amazing while floating down the stream in complete darkness.
