ManaBus operate services connecting Taupo with Auckland, Hamilton, Napier, Palmerston North, Rotorua, Tauranga and Wellington and InterCity Coachlines have coach services to Auckland, Hamilton, Hastings, Napier, Palmerston North, Rotorua, Turangi, Tauranga and Wellington.
Both InterCity and ManaBus stop outside the i-SITE Visitor Information Centre on Tongariro Street.
