Paradise Valley Springs

You are here Home  > North Island  > Bay of Plenty  > Rotorua >  Paradise Valley Springs

Paradise Valley Springs is a wildlife park/zoo just outside Rotorua that has lots of trout as well as New Zealand wildlife and a lion enclosure.

It’s not a big attraction for most budget travellers, although you can hand-feed animals such as deer, pigs and wallabies, which makes it popular with families.

Feeding the goats and wallabies etc is fun, but feeding the trout was way more fun than I would've thought. So get some food for them. =)

If you want to feed the wallabies, bring extra food to distract the ducks. Those things are aggressive!
